The Bergerac Périgord Football Club (National 2) will finally play tomorrow evening Wednesday its first friendly match of the season at home. The match against Arcachon (Regional 1), was to take place in Gironde. The Périgord club announces on its twitter account that given the fires ravaging the Gironde, the meeting will therefore take place in the Dordogne.

In a press release on the Football Club Bassin d’Arcachon website, its president Jacques Walkowiac explains that the stadium has been requisitioned “in view of the gravity of the situation, the facilities of the Jean Brousse stadium have been made available for the firefighters’ command post who are fighting bravely and tirelessly”.
The BPFC also sends a message of solidarity to the firefighters and those affected by the fires.
The president of the Périgord club, Christophe Fauvel, also sends a message to the victims on his twitter account “moved and sincere solidarity with the tragic events currently taking place in Gironde”.
The match will take place tomorrow Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Pont Roux at 7:30 p.m.. Free entry.
