the Arcachon-BPFC friendly football match will be played in Bergerac

The Bergerac Périgord Football Club (National 2) will finally play tomorrow evening Wednesday its first friendly match of the season at home. The match against Arcachon (Regional 1), was to take place in Gironde. The Périgord club announces on its twitter account that given the fires ravaging the Gironde, the meeting will therefore take place in the Dordogne.

The Arcachon stadium occupied by the fire department

In a press release on the Football Club Bassin d’Arcachon website, its president Jacques Walkowiac explains that the stadium has been requisitioned “in view of the gravity of the situation, the facilities of the Jean Brousse stadium have been made available for the firefighters’ command post who are fighting bravely and tirelessly”.

The BPFC also sends a message of solidarity to the firefighters and those affected by the fires.
