24 actor Gregory Itzin has passed away

Actor Gregory Itzin, known for his role as the evil President of the United States Charles Logan in the television series 24, died Friday. He was 74 years old.

Jon Cassar, who directed a large part of the episodes of the series broadcast in the early 2000s, paid tribute to him on Twitter. “He was one of the most talented actors I’ve had the honor to work with, but more than anything he was a great guy,” he wrote of his friend.

Thanks to his role as Charles Logan, which he held from 2005 to 2010, Gregory Itzin earned two Emmy Award nominations.

During his career, the actor from the city of Washington has been very present on the small screen, especially in the series The Mentalist and NCSI. He has also acted in a few feature films and in the theatre.

The causes of his death have not been disclosed at this time.
