Hydro-Quebec subsidiary AXSO expands operations with Hypercharge Networks

(Québec) The Hydro-Québec subsidiary AXSO, which specializes in technological tools, announces a partnership with the company Hypercharge Networks, which offers charging solutions for electric vehicles.

Together, the two companies want to develop “a complete electric vehicle charging management and optimization software solution” for Hypercharge Networks customers.

In a press release, AXSO points out that it is seeking to diversify its international clientele after having contributed to the Quebec terminal network with its parent company Hydro-Québec.

For its part, Hypercharge Networks develops charging services for apartment buildings, vehicle fleets and public charging services. The company wants to extend its network to all of North America.

In the press release published by AXSO, its CEO Alexandre Bérubé mentions that the two partners have collaborated to design an application and a web portal for users of the Hypercharge network.

For the latter, the contribution of AXSO’s expertise makes it possible to complete its service offer by notably improving the performance of its platform, mentioned its CEO David Bibby.

AXSO, owned by the Crown corporation Hydro-Québec, aims to support operators of electric charging stations to monetize their operations in addition to simplifying their use for motorists.
