Austria has decided to re-limit residents who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 from Monday, November 15. A first in the European Union.
In the streets of Vienna (Austria), Monday, November 15, only people vaccinated against Covid-19 have in theory the right to move. Unvaccinated over 12s can no longer leave their homes, except to go to work or do their shopping. They are also prohibited from entering restaurants, non-essential stores or cultural venues. A measure variously received by the Austrians.

The police patrols met in the morning did not yet check the vaccination status of passers-by, but the authorities announced heavy fines, from 500 to 1,450 euros, for the offenders.
So the vaccination centers are facing a crowd that they had not seen for several months. This lockdown of the unvaccinated is scheduled to last ten days, but the Austrian Minister of Health said other restrictions were on the table, including the return of the curfew, including for those vaccinated.
