Beyoncé unveils the single “Break my soul”, the first title of her next album “Renaissance”

Beyoncé returns to the starting blocks this Tuesday, June 21 with a new single titled break my soul. This new 4-minute track has a flavor of 1980s American electronic music, at the crossroads of hip-hop and modern house. It is already available on all streaming platforms.

Queen B offers a taste of her next album called Renaissance which promises to be retro-futuristic. The album, eagerly awaited by the singer’s fans, will be released on July 29 and will feature 16 tracks. Its release was announced on June 16, six years after his previous album Lemonade.

His first solo, Dangerously in Lovewas released in 2003, when she was still part of the band Destiny’s Child. Between the two, Beyoncé has become one of the most influential artists in the world, thanks to her music mixing R’n’B, pop and hip-hop, and a very elaborate aesthetic.

Very danceable album

As part of this marketing campaign, the British edition of the magazine vogue also unveiled Thursday the front page that it will devote to Beyoncé in its July edition, on newsstands June 21. The photos shown by Vogue – Beyoncé in glam and retro-futuristic outfits, on dance floors – portend a very danceable album.

“Aerial voices mingle with relentless rhythms and in a fraction of a second, I am transported to the clubs of my youth”writes Edward Enninful, the British Vogue journalist who met Beyoncé at her Los Angeles home.

Beyoncé is married to another heavyweight in the music industry, rapper Jay-Z, father of her three children.
