The judicial police of Amiens (Somme) are appealing for witnesses after the murder of two women and a young child in an apartment in Amiens, reports France Bleu Picardie on Friday April 22. A homicide investigation had been opened by the Amiens prosecutor’s office after the discovery of the three bodies, two women aged 26 and 25 and a 3-year-old boy, on Friday April 15.
Investigators are looking for an Uber Eats delivery person who can provide information. On April 12, four days before the discovery of the three victims, a meal order was placed. The order was paid with the credit card of one of the victims, the prosecution said in a statement. Anyone who has information to communicate is asked to contact the judicial police on 03 20 30 37 25.
The spouse of one of the victims, who is also the father of the child, still could not be heard. He had been hospitalized after having had a road accident, a collision with a heavy truck. According to the prosecution, the circumstances of the accident show “that he probably tried to end his life”. The serious lesions noted on him indicate “that he probably tried to kill himself by other means a few hours earlier”specified the prosecutor on April 16. “Given these various elements, suspicion converges on this individual.”
The 48-year-old man has never been convicted of acts of violence but is already known for traffic offenses and acts of concealed work, fraud and forgery in private writing. “There is no trace of a complaint or report for domestic violence on his companion”said the floor.
