Marina Ovsyannikova left court on Tuesday evening, where she was partially judged. She was fined 250 euros, and remains free for the time being. “The interrogation lasted 14 hours. I did not have the right to speak to my relatives, nor had access to legal assistance”confided the journalist. She has so far only been tried for having posted a video recorded the day before her act, in which she again criticizes the Kremlin in a virulent manner. The journalist faces further prosecution. She could be tried for publishing false information, a crime punishable by 15 years in prison in Russia.
