On Monday, after meeting with members of the US Congress, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, accused Russia of using thermobaric bombs in Ukraine. Accusations taken up by humanitarian organizations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. According to Mme Markarova, this use is prohibited by the Geneva Convention.
