Two first players have signed up with USAP for next season

Jake McIntyre will be a usapiste next season. According to information from France Bleu Roussillon, the opening half has signed up with the Catalan club. Jake McIntyre turns 28 in April and is currently playing for Australian club Western Force, a club he joined in 2020.

Previously, the Australian opener had already played in France. From 2017 to 2019 he wore the colors of Agen with whom he scored more than 300 points. He then tried the adventure in Clermont: nine times holder and 114 points scored.

Jake McIntyre was the Catalan club’s lead at the opener (for his goalscoring skills too) and this Sunday he scored a try and a conversion with his club despite losing 29-23 to the Brumbies. Next season, he will be able to cover the position of opener with Tristan Tedder, the great satisfaction of the USAP this season.

Victor Moreaux will also be Catalan

The Catalan club should also formalize in the coming days the arrival of Victor Moreaux. This 28-year-old second row currently wears the colors of Racing (9 match sheets and 3 starts this season). Still according to our information, the ex-castrese (2014 – 2020) and ex-agenais (2020-2021) has also indeed given his agreement to the USAP.

The Catalan club, particularly discreet in communication on the theme of recruitment, continues its research (at the back, in the second line, in the right pillar, in particular). The uncertainty of knowing in which division the USAP will play next season obviously complicates the task.
