It’s been a long time since we’ve seen these two on the dancefloor. Linda Hardy and Julien Lepers, who each in turn lit up the floor of the show Dancing with the stars, found themselves on the occasion of a very similar competition… but far from the cameras of TF1. On Sunday February 6, 2022, the 7th edition of the grand departmental competition Dancing with the seniors actually took place in the Apollo room of the Acropolis palace in Nice.
This 7th edition of the event was chaired by Linda Hardy, Miss France 1992, actress and president of the jury, accompanied by Gaëlle Frontoni, the vice-president of the Department, and by Martine Kaisserlian, the director of studies at the center for professional training and higher education in dance at the OFF JAZZ center in Nice. Julien Lepers was on the microphone to present the competition. Something to remind him of memories, he who had twirled on the arm of Silvia Notargiacomo in 2016 – he had unfortunately only obtained the eighth place on the podium.
The competition Dancing with the seniors took place under the eyes of Eric Ciotti, the deputy of the 1st constituency of the Alpes-Maritimes. Mariora Cheptene and Steeve Gaudet, triple world champions in sport dance, performed dance demonstrations between the different passages of the finalist couples. The winners of this competition are Christine and Gérard Boniol, from Nice, who danced a tango, a rock swing and a slow waltz, in front of nine other dancing duos. Congratulations…
