“Please don’t stay there”, tense relations between Mimie Mathy and Jean-Luc Reichmann

Sometimes there are unexpected duos while others pretend to like each other on screen. While they shared the spotlight during an episode of Joséphine Ange Gardien, many wondered if the complicity between Mimie Mathy and Jean-Luc Reichmann was authentic off camera.

On the occasion of “Skates of Hope”the host of Twelve Noon Shots opened up about his relationship with his friend at the microphone of Gala and said: “We are very close friends with Mimie Mathy. She could be my big sister. She is benevolence in its purest form. She suffered from her difference, I suffered from mine. You should know that she gave me welcomed fifteen years ago to camp an organic farmer, it was already a hot topic! When she calls me back fifteen years later to do prevention on children – because I play a sports coach who will reach out to a teenager who is lost – I was obviously interested“.

In video extracts, we were even able to confirm their affection for each other, as when Jean-Luc Reichmann appears in front of the camera while the blonde lands behind his shoulders. “Hey say, oh, you think I didn’t see you… Please don’t stay here“he let go amused before leaving in a fit of laughter.

To underline the love between the two friends, Jean-Luc Reichmann revealed what Mimie Mathy and the team of Josephine Guardian Angel did for him during filming. “When I was about to shoot, I was seriously affected by the Covid. I was unable to do anything. You should know that because of the Covid, I lost 7 kilos in 7 days. On this episode, we see that I am almost someone else. They were awesome. They postponed the shoot for three weeks for me. I found it quite brilliant on the part of the production, Mimie Mathy and all the other actors to make this gesture. Whether it’s the production or Mimie Mathy, they all welcomed me with open arms“remembered the host. A good proof that they are indeed a sacred duo.
