48 children and 7 adults victims of food poisoning during a snow class

A group of 48 children and 7 adults suffered food poisoning on the night of Monday January 15 to Tuesday January 16 during a snow class in Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle (Savoie), franceinfo learned from from the gendarmerie this Tuesday. Ten children and one adult were taken care of last night by emergency services. The latter and two children were then admitted to Albertville hospital. Children and adults experienced headaches and vomiting at night. Emergency services ruled out carbon monoxide poisoning and favored food poisoning. Additional analyzes are underway this Tuesday to determine the exact cause of their discomfort. The investigation is entrusted to the Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle gendarmerie brigade.

The snow class was made up of a total of 207 children and 31 adults from Charleroi in Belgium. Arriving there last Friday, they were to stay there until January 20.
