The countdown has started for Zenith in Spain, which will go on air in a week.
The KOTV team is currently in Barcelona to supervise the Spanish adaptation of the show hosted by Véronique Cloutier.
This new version, which will be called Zenit (without the “h”), will take the air of TV3, the Catalan public television channel, next Friday. The first season will have nine two-hour episodes, has learned The Press.
This is a first adaptation abroad for Zenith. The local team reproduced the arena-like decor of the variety show, explains Louis-Philippe Drolet, general manager and partner at KOTV, the production company of the original Quebec format. This Spanish version of Zenith is produced by Lavinia Audiovisual.
Among the Quebecers on site, we note the director Alain Chicoine, and Dominic Anctil, content producer.
Presented on ICI Télé since January 2023, Zenith highlights established artists from all generations who deliver performances in front of a panel of 100 jurors drawn from the public, equally divided into generations. The third season will air next winter.
