The fate of the caribou is sealed
The waltz-hesitation of the State, wedged between the forest lobbies and the communities which depend on the exploitation of the forest resource, ensures that the species has reached or is about to reach the point of non- return. From studies to commissions of inquiry, time is the best ally of the supporters of the status quo, that is the disappearance of a kind of impediments to exploit in circles…

Recognition of community work
We often talk about healthcare workers who are at their wit’s end, but community agency workers are really working in the shadows… as always. The population does not know and does not realize all the work that is done there on a daily basis. These workers represent the basis of survival for our newcomers and our underprivileged society. When will they be visible and recognized?

Souvenirs from the Magpie River
Those who have already seen the landscapes provided by the Magpie River or who have canoed on the river have very fond memories. Imagine seeing a dam from Route 138, instead of the magnificent falls and rapids. There are many other ways than putting concrete on waterways to meet our energy needs. Let’s start by reducing our consumption. We cannot live on environmental credit.

The meshes of the Qatari net
The past is no longer the present… with us, in any case! It’s good, we have progressed, changed, evolved. Our society is better, I think, than 60 years ago. Unfortunately, the democracy of certain countries is threatened, daily violence is rampant there. Our history is not without stains, but today we can say that human rights are much more respected than in the Middle East, right? Women have, according to our laws, the same rights as men. I can’t imagine for a second that someone could impose a way of thinking on me. Our children are protected, cared for. We should always be outraged by statesmen who bully and oppress their people, while they swim in opulence.
