A partial solar eclipse was observed in France between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25. The Moon came to hide part of the Sun above the northern hemisphere.

To observe an eclipse, there are several techniques. First of all, one can use goggles. But some have instead opted for a telescope and even a skimmer. Tuesday October 25, near Pontarlier (Doubs), the sky was blue. The conditions were perfect to observe the solar eclipse. The Moon has come between the Earth and the Sun.

On Tuesday, the eclipse was partial. Only 19% of our star has been obscured. The enthusiasm of the spectators remained intact. Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) was the best place to observe the phenomenon. Indeed, it is the closest French city to Kazakhstan, the best country to see the eclipse. And everyone enjoyed it in their own way, young and old alike. The next date is set for August 12, 2026, for the next total eclipse.
