Year of the Dragon | Free cooking! invites Dobe & Andy

Clément Boivin, from Cuisine libre!, invites Webster Galman, from the Cantonese restaurant Dobe & Andy, for a gourmet celebration of the Lunar New Year.


The two chefs got to know each other while working together at the Cabane Au Pied de Pig, around ten years ago. These are a promising reunion, under a new moon!

It takes place in the premises where the old Mei, the Chinese café, was located, on February 9 and 10 in the evening, then on the 11th at noon, with a dim sum menu. You can see both menus on the Cuisine Libre! Instagram page.

There will be both traditional dishes and some mixes, such as bo kho wonton soup and chow mein with steak and pepper sauce. The evening sit-down meal will be preceded by an aperitif from 6 p.m. and a few tasting stations.

The space will be designed by the creatives from Studio Ascètes. We take advantage of this festive and unifying event to book in groups of four or six, although pairs are also welcome.
