Putting one’s life story into words is something many have done during the pandemic.

But where to start ? To support people in their writing process, L’Assembleuse, a Quebec company that offers a range of products related to the transmission of its origins, launched the newspaper My roots.
This notebook allows you to write down your memories, from childhood to adult life, with the help of a hundred questions, sometimes factual (family, friendships, holiday memories, professional career), sometimes existential (tests, sources pride, regrets, relationship to death).
Once you have filled it out, you can offer the notebook as it is to your descendants or use it as a canvas for writing a more literary story.
