White Iristhe 40e adventure of Asterix and Obelix, will be published in the fall, announce Les Éditions Albert René. Conrad, the series’ appointed designer for 10 years, is now teaming up with Fabcaro, who signs his first screenplay set in the small Gallic village.
We don’t know much about the album to come, except that the chief Abraracourcix spins a bad cotton since a new mode of positive thought coming from Rome insinuated itself in his village. Asterix and Obelix don’t seem to adhere too much to this philosophy of fulfillment through benevolence either…

“I particularly like the Asterix albums where an external element enters the village and disturbs its balance, and observe the reaction of the villagers, with their legendary bad faith”, explains Fabcaro, in a press release from Éditions Albert Rene. White Irisexpected on October 26, 2023, will be printed in 5 million copies worldwide.
