The flame arrives in Paris on Sunday, for its 57th stop in France, and for two days of wandering and festivities in the streets of the capital.

After a three-month journey from Olympia in Greece, the flame arrives in Paris for the national holiday, Sunday, July 14. Twelve days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the flame will continue its relay around the most emblematic places of the capital.
From the Champs-Elysées to the Place de la République, via the Louvre Museum, the flame will often be accompanied by artistic and sporting events. Franceinfo: sport presents the best sites where you can see it.
Parvis of Notre-Dame and Notre-Dame bridge, July 14 at 3:50 p.m.
The flame will make its appearance in the capital on Sunday, July 14 at 12:50 p.m., on the Champs-Elysées roundabout, and will immediately cross the Seine after the Petit Palais, passing consecutively in front of the National Assembly, the Senate, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne and the Arab World Institute.
So many prestigious places that will guide her towards the Île de la Cité and the parvis of Notre-Dame, where the gymnastics group and the music group of the Paris firefighters will perform from 3 p.m., before the arrival of the torch at 3:50 p.m. You will be able to follow her as she crosses the Seine on the Notre-Dame bridge, at 3:55 p.m., which will be decorated with giant artificial flowers for the occasion.
City Hall Square, July 14 at 11 p.m.
After passing through the 9th and 10th arrondissements in the late afternoon, the relay will pass through Place Vendôme and Rue de Rivoli to reach the Louvre Museum and its famous pyramid at 8:20 p.m. Then it will pass through the Nelson Mandela Garden and in front of the Pompidou Center, to conclude its stroll on the forecourt of the city hall at 11:00 p.m.
Before that, from 8:45 p.m., the Orchestre national de France, the choir and the Radio France choir will offer a classical concert in front of the city hall. The Olympic flame will light the cauldron around 11:10 p.m., before a fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower. The torch will remain visible between 12:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., for a nighttime performance of the “Paris!” exhibition in the Saint-Jean room.
Parvis of the Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre, July 15 at 9 a.m.
The following day, Monday July 15, the Olympic flame will reappear at 8:10 a.m. at the Arena Porte de la Chapelle, before climbing the Butte Montmartre to reach the forecourt of the Sacré-Cœur at 9 a.m., where 30 dancers will perform half an hour earlier on the steps of the monument.
The relay will continue its journey westwards, passing through Place Blanche and Place du Général Catroux to reach the Arc de Triomphe and Place de l’Etoile at 11 a.m., before reaching Trocadéro at the end of the morning.
Butte-aux-Cailles district, July 15 at 3:40 p.m.
Until now less visible on the Left Bank of Paris, the Olympic flame will spend most of the afternoon there on July 15. After the forecourt of the 15th arrondissement town hall and the Place de la Catalogne, it will arrive at the Place Denfert-Rochereau at 3:15 p.m., where it will be preceded by a concert by La Sirène, the 14th arrondissement fanfare band, starting at 2:10 p.m.
The Olympic torch will then have a joyful interlude on the Butte-aux-Cailles, at 3:40 p.m., where the neighborhood party will be in full swing all afternoon with a concert by the group Dora Music, a pétanque competition, and food and drink stands.
Place de la République, July 15 at 8:45 p.m.
The torch relay will go back up Boulevard Vincent Auriol and the Port de l’Arsenal to reach Place de la Bastille in the early evening, then finish its journey on Place de la République.
The Olympic cauldron will be lit at 8:45 p.m., but a major concert will be organized from 8 p.m., with performances by French-speaking artists Jain, Ofenbach and Mentissa. The flame will reappear on July 17 in Aisne, before traveling across the Ile-de-France region from July 19 to 26, the day of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
