Items returned by customers, end-of-line products or “floor demonstrators”, the offer is increasingly diversified for consumers. Warehouse-type big-box stores and online sections reserved for this type of item are multiplying, and you can find some damaged or imperfect furniture and decorative objects there.
This is an opportunity to save money if you are ready to put up with a few flaws or scratches. Here are some good places to visit or consult.
Liquidation centers and warehouses
Meubles RD has four liquidation centers in Quebec (Terrebonne, Thetford Mines, Quebec and Victoriaville) which are entirely dedicated to customer returns (open boxes), floor demos or products with imperfections. They publish, once a month, 30 to 60 products on their Facebook page, offered in each of the liquidation centres.
