On the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of René Lévesque, Place des Arts, Espace René-Lévesque, the René-Lévesque Foundation, the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and the Université du Québec à Montréal inaugurate at 5 p.m. the ‘exposure René-Lévesque in Montreal. The journey of an exceptional man.
In politics, the leader of the Parti Québécois, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, Mmy Pauline Marois and Marie Malavoy, former MPs for Taillon, as well as the candidates of the Parti Québécois in the Longueuil urban area will honor the memory of the former Premier of Québec during a tribute evening to be held in Longueuil at 5:30 p.m.
The duty also highlights on all of its platforms the memory of the founder of the Parti Québécois, one of the greatest prime ministers in the history of Québec, with the 100 years series by René Lévesque.
