Lysis, at the heart of creation

Twice, the containment caused by the pandemic has pulled the rug from under the feet of the artisans of Lysis, an ambitious show awaited at the TNM! The Théâtre du Nouveau Monde offers a foretaste of the work accomplished so far with the webcast of Lysis, at the heart of creation, a video capture where scenes from the play rub shoulders with reflections from the creators. A work lulled by the music of Philippe Brault, halfway between theater and documentary. Until May 27.

Comedian Max Schreck in the film Nosferatu from 1922

Nosferatua century later

100 years ago, on March 15, 1922, the film premiered Nosferatu by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, a German filmmaker associated with the current of expressionism. This film would define, in its own way, the genre of horror and the place of vampires in cinema. The story of this production with a unique destiny is told in the documentary Nosferatu and the birth of vampires in cinema, film to be seen on March 15 at 9 p.m. on Frissons TV. The screening of the documentary will be followed by that of the original film, in a restored version with intertitles in French.
