This Thursday, March 14, the government wants to take legal action for acts of an anti-Semitic nature and is asking for sanctions after a student from Sciences Po Paris, member of the Union of Jewish Students of France, was prevented from entering a amphitheater occupied in support of the Palestinians. According to certain testimonies, anti-Semitic remarks were made towards her, students present in the amphitheater that day contradict this version and claim that the student had already filmed pro-Palestinian comrades and published the videos, which would have led to cyberbullying.

MPs are today considering a bill to regulate fast fashion. The text proposes to prohibit all advertising for ephemeral fashion brands and to set up a “bonus-malus” system, with a penalty for brands which do not take into account environmental issues then redistributed to those which produce more sustainable way.

During a discussion with the national secretary of the feminist association “Choose the cause of women”, on the sidelines of the sealing of the Constitution on March 8, Emmanuel Macron spoke out in favor of including consent in French law. Last February, France opposed a European definition of rape which would include the notion of consent.
