This Thursday, May 16, the French government hopes to put an end to the riots which left 4 dead, including a police officer, in New Caledonia. The state of emergency which came into force at 5 a.m. in Nouméa allows the government to block TikTok in the overseas territory. European consumer associations have filed a complaint with the European Commission against Temu, accused of manipulating Internet users and violating several European regulations. The Chinese e-commerce platform has more than 75 million users in the European Union.

And then the coach of the French football team Didier Deschamps will announce his list for Euro-2024 this Thursday evening, at 8 p.m. on TF1. Bradley Barcola, who only has one selection with the Espoirs, will be one of them, like Aurélien Tchouaméni, Kingsley Coman and Mike Maignan, all three returning from injury.
