“Hi it’s Sarah, what does it say?”
This Monday, May 13, the fighting continues in the northeast of Ukraine, after a ground offensive by Russian forces that began on Friday, May 10. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, “fierce fighting continues over a large part of [la] border” with Russia, particularly in the town of Vovchansk which, according to a humanitarian official from Kharkiv, could be “wiped off the map”.
Sonia Dahmani, a Tunisian lawyer, was arrested while taking refuge at the Tunis Lawyer’s House. The arrest was broadcast live on France 24. A few days earlier, on a television set, responding to a columnist who claimed that migrants from several sub-Saharan African countries wanted to come to Tunisia, Sonia Dahmani replied ironically: “what extraordinary country are we talking about?”. Two other columnists were arrested on Saturday May 11 after criticizing the situation in Tunisia.
Kylian Mbappé will no longer play at the Parc des Princes in the colors of PSG. Sunday evening’s match against Toulouse was his last at home with the Parisian team. The top scorer in the club’s history was first whistled when his name was announced by the stadium announcer, then a tifo was displayed in his honor in the stands. A half-hearted tribute after which the attacker did not speak.
A tifo with the image of Kylian Mbappe is deployed in the Auteuil stand, in front of the player. A few whistles at the start of the Park, then songs in his honor. On the giant screens, images of the warm-up are broadcast. #PSGTFC @franceinfo pic.twitter.com/3hzl2Uubra
