What bond does she keep with her exes?

If Marine Le Pen is elected in the next presidential election, she will return to the Élysée alone. Single, the candidate for the National Rally admitted to Closer magazine to be much happier today. However, she retains a deep affection for her former companion, Louis Aliot. The couple stayed together from 2009 to 2019 and definitely moved on. Indeed, the mayor of Perpignan remarried, last July, with the painter Véronique Lopez, better known under the pseudonym of Vebeca.

However, the ex-companions remained very close. While she was on a tour of France to collect the sponsorship of mayors, Marine Le Pen had the pleasure of meeting the frontist on January 9th. It is also over a drink that the two personalities of the National Rally were able to discuss at length. Shortly after their separation, Louis Aliot had even confirmed to opinion that he would continue to support his former partner. “There are still a lot of affections between us. Politically, we remain on the same line. I have always been supportive. I am and I will remain a sailor”.

In his book published in 2021, entitled Impossible is not French (VA editions), the ally of Marine Le Pen did not fail to compliment the politician. He describes it, among other things, as “brilliant”, courageous” and believes that it represents a “firefly of hope in the middle of the fog”.

Divorced in 2000, Marine Le Pen remarried in 2002 with Eric Iorio, former national secretary of the National Front. Their divorce will be pronounced in June 2006. It is therefore only in 2009 that she will formalize her relationship with Louis Aliot. Usually protective of her private life, Marine Le Pen confides today that she is very happy alone. And as for the idea of finding a soul mate one day, she has an idea on the matter. “Oh not at all!“, she begins before adding: “I have no lack. I’m happy to be alone and I don’t want to expect anything from a man.”
