In addition to the Ukrainian conflict, this state visit was also the occasion for the signing of agreements and contracts for Airbus, EDF, L’Oréal and even Suez. A cultural partnership between the Palace of Versailles and the Forbidden City has also been concluded with a view to an exhibition in the Chinese capital next year. Following his visit, Emmanuel Macron proposed to the Chinese president to come to France in turn. Invitation accepted, although the date has not yet been set.
