Ukraine enters its third year of war against Russia.“Either we, Westerners, decide to deliver more decisive weapons to Ukraine, and in that case Ukraine will win the war, or we still have the blockages (…) and in that case, we risk arriving at a monstrous solution (…) we have a duty to help Ukraine”, comments Nicolas Tenzer, teacher at Sciences Po.

“Ravage the Russian forces”

The Ukrainian president spoke to the nation yesterday. He promises to “ravage the Russian forces”. And “it will have the means, Ukraine has started producing a certain number of weapons on its own. Their idea is to be independent and autonomous”, explains the teacher. But the country also lacks men, the army is finding it increasingly difficult to recruit. “Vladimir Putin’s advantage is numbers, and the fact that for him, the human lives of his own soldiers do not count”, analyzes Nicolas Tenzer.
