For the second time this season, Nîmes has lost three consecutive L2 matches. Worse, the Nîmes have lost six of their last nine Ligue 2 matches. Without being flamboyant, the Guingampais quietly imposed themselves in the Gard for the first time in their history, a first success after 9 games in all competitions (a draw in Ligue 1, five defeats and a draw in Ligue 2 and a defeat in the Coupe of the League). Nicolas Usaï, the Nîmes coach feels a demobilization of his group: “It’s not enough, we had situations to score but we didn’t have the extra soul that allows a team to turn games around. We lacked skill and realism. We We’re in a tough spot. Let’s make sure we take the points so we don’t look at the other results for maintenance.”
