At 210 Rue de la Ferme Larrouquere in Mont-de-Marsan is the Dakoté urban farm specializing in medicinal plants including hemp, micro shoots of plants and grass juices. On site direct sale in short circuit and the last product on the market is the Dakote bouquet, the hemp bouquet from the Landes. A bouquet of luminaries of hemp flowers grown here and throughout the region because Dakoté is one of the founding members of the Hemp New Aquitaine association, bringing together the main players in the Regional sector.
For Côté Saveurs on France Bleu Gascogne Guillaume Duvignac, co-director of the Dakoté agricultural company, brings us to his cooking ideas. Hemp in herbal tea, hemp in honey, in butter or in any other preparations such as jams or cakes. “Hemp appreciates fat” specifies Guillaume who always recommends a cloud of milk in CBD-based Dakoté infusions. At Dakoté we give in well-being. In addition to hemp grown locally and marketed in the form of flowers but also of water-soluble solutions, micro-shoots of plants are grown and wheatgrass juice is produced. These microgreens, very popular with restaurants, are real superfoods. They are very concentrated in nutrients excellent for health. Dakoté likes to recall that “Microgreens contain 4 to 40 times more vitamins, enzymes, minerals, antioxidants and beneficial properties than their mature grown equivalent”.
