Warmed Omari and Adrien Truffert summoned to the France U23 team

Since the start of the season, it has been his club replacement, Loïc Badé, who had Sylvain Ripoll’s preference when composing his Espoirs selection. This Thursday, Warmed Omari experienced the happiness of being called up to Les Bleuets for the first time in his young career. At 21, the central defender trained in Rennes should know for the first time the joy of wearing the blue jersey, he who has never been called up to the young France teams. His teammate Adrien Truffert is once again called up to Les Bleuets, while Loïc Badé leaves Sylvain Ripoll’s list.

Warmed Omari had also been approached by the Comorian selection, of which he is a national, to compete in the CAN last January, but he preferred to focus on his club season. Three former Rennes players are also part of this hopeful selection: the Vannetais Georginio Rutter, trained in Rennes and who plays today in Hoffenheim, the Fougerais Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) and the Monegasque Sofiane Diop.

The France Espoirs team must play two matches in Calais during this March gathering: the first on March 24 against the Faroe Islands (Euro U21 Qualifiers) and the second on March 28 against Northern Ireland (friendly match).
