Wheat production is blocked in Ukraine because of the war. However, in the Black Sea, a Russian ship full of grain was intercepted by the Turkish authorities.

7,000 tons of wheat were intercepted on a Russian ship by the Turkish authorities in the Black Sea. Ukraine accuses Russia of stealing the shipment, while the Russians claimed to be trading. The course of the freighter has been traced. After leaving Russia, he removed his geolocation before being again on the radar four days later with the seven tons of wheat on board. The vessel has meanwhile been sighted in a Ukrainian town, Berdyansk.

If the Russians have been accused of stealing Ukrainian wheat, this is not a first. “Our business has been captured by the occupiers. We have no control over the confiscation of our products”recount the farmer Andriy Horny. The crops that are in the land are repatriated by vehicle from the Crimean region. The cereals would then be transported by more than twenty boats to Syria. Russia denies it and Explain export wheat to Africa.
