In Ukraine, the Russian army controls the town of Mariupol. However, there are still some fights, as reported by the special envoy Luc Lacroix, duplex Mariupol, Wednesday, April 13.
The city of Mariupol (Ukraine) is at heart of all fights. Despite a new information war about the surrender of a thousand Ukrainian soldiers, the Ukrainian authorities deny and assure that, in the city, the offensive continues. “Here in Mariupol, we saw very tense Russian and separatist soldiers [mercredi 13 avril]”declares the special envoy Luc Lacroix, in duplex since Mariupol.
The bombardments are still continuing in the city. Luc Lacroix explains that “the bombardments seem to be heading towards the huge steel factory where the Ukrainian fighters have entrenched themselves”continues the journalist. This shows that the battle of Mariupol is not finished yet. “The fighting continues and that, the inhabitants of the city know it well”concludes Luc Lacroix.
