A Russian missile hit the commercial center of Kremenchuk. The toll is already heavy with 10 dead and twenty injured. According to the president Volodymyr Zelenskymore than 1,000 people were inside the center at the time of the bombardment. Once the shock passed, many Ukrainians tried to help the various civilians still alive, trapped in the mall. For the moment, the Ukrainian authorities do not know why Kremenchuk was targeted.

The explosion shocked as much as it surprised the inhabitants of Kremenchuk. “I fell with my son in my arms, the explosion was so strong”explains a woman. Some have understood two explosions as described by a resident. “I heard a first explosion, then a second and there was a big black smoke.” Monday evening, June 27, Ukrainian firefighters and emergency workers are busy finding victims who are still alive.
