(New York) The hesitant New York Stock Exchange opened slightly in the green on Wednesday, in a market with little traffic before the end of a terrible year 2022 for equities.
A few minutes after the open, the Dow Jones index was up 0.23% and the NASDAQ climbed 0.25%, after opening in the red as did the S&P 500. On Tuesday, these indices ended the session divided: +0.11% for the Dow Jones, -1.38% for the NASDAQ, with strong technological coloring, and -0.40% for the broader S&P 500 index.
