Wall Street opens in disarray

(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened in scattered order on Friday, rather calm before the highly anticipated speech by the chairman of the American central bank (Fed) Jerome Powell, from whom the market awaits indications on the upcoming monetary easing.


In early trading, the Dow Jones fell 0.43%, the NASDAQ index gained 0.88% and the broader S&P 500 index gained 0.60%.
