Walking across France, a France Bleu Lorraine partnership

837 kms in favor of the league against cancer, this is the challenge launched by Philippe Bonneau, athletic walker!

7 times World Champion, 7 times European Champion, 18 times French Champion, Philippe Bonneau, who also holds a French Record in the 20 km road as well as a French Record in the 30,000 m track, will cross France in favor of the league against cancer.

From June 07 to 18, 2022he will criss-cross the roads of France in order to complete the 837 km which separate Semécourt to Azille, which represents 16 hours of daily walking, i.e. 96 km of walking/day!

  • Departure: Tuesday 07 June June 2022 at 10 a.m., in SEMECOURT in Moselle.
  • Arrival: Saturday June 18, 2022 at 10 a.m., in AZILLE in Aude.

This human experience is for me a need, a duty to make this journey for this cause. I want to honor these women and men, but also medicine, who fight daily to advance research. This sporting event will also allow me to pay tribute to all those who have not had the chance to make it. Philippe Bonneau
