A busy week for Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president is scheduled to meet with former US President Donald Trump, a candidate in the November presidential election, during his visit to the United States the week of Monday, September 23, the Ukrainian presidency announced on Thursday, September 19.
US President Joe Biden will also receive his Ukrainian counterpart on September 26, who will also be received separately by Vice President Kamala Harris, the White House announced. The discussions will include the war between Moscow and kyiv as well as Washington’s support for Ukraine, the US executive said in a statement.
Volodymyr Zelensky must present his “plan for victory” to American leaders, according to his statements on Wednesday. The Ukrainian president is scheduled to speak at the United Nations General Assembly on September 25 in New York.
