Visiting Berlin, the Ukrainian president called on his allies on Friday to ensure that “assistance does not drop next year.”

He wants “a just and speedy end to this war”. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday October 11 that he would like to see an end to the conflict between his country and Russia. “no later than next year, 2025”. He is “very important for us that attendance does not drop next year”he insisted, during a trip to Berlin, alongside the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz.
“Our support for Ukraine will not waver”assured the head of the German government, on the second day of the Volodymyr Zelensky’s European tour seeking more military support. “We will not accept peace dictated by Russia”warned Olaf Scholz.
The question of a ceasefire “is not a subject of our discussions” with the allies, declared the Ukrainian president on Thursday, following his meeting with Emmanuel Macron in Paris. “Before winter, we need your support”he insisted. The French president assured him that France’s aid continued “in accordance with its commitments”.
