Alongside its potential response against Iran, Israel is continuing its offensive in southern Lebanon. To dislodge Hezbollah, eight Israeli soldiers were killed on Wednesday October 2.
In a video shot in Israel near the border, we can see running soldiers evacuating several bodies on stretchers, at least five, to a helicopter. The Israeli incursion into Lebanon caused its first military casualties with eight dead according to the Jewish state. The Israeli Prime Minister spoke at the end of the day. “We are in the middle of a fierce war against the Iranian axis of evil that seeks to destroy us. This will not happen because we will remain united and, with God’s help, we will win together”declared Benjamin Netanyahu.
During this ambush, 30 Israeli soldiers were also injured and transported to hospitals in the region. Several victims were evacuated from an ambulance and hidden by sheets. This Wednesday evening, October 2, Hezbollah claims to have succeeded in destroying three tanks in southern Lebanon, near the border, information which has not been confirmed by the Hebrew state.
