On the campus of UCLA University in Los Angeles (United States), pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrators clashed. Earlier, New York police officers had evicted those who had occupied a building at Columbia University for 24 hours.

On one side, pro-Palestinian activists who have occupied the campus for several days, on the other, pro-Israeli activists ready to fight. The clashes lasted more than two hours and several people were injured.
Definitive exclusions pronounced
Hours earlier in New York, police responded to an occupied Columbia University building, using a catwalk truck to enter the floor. Dozens of people were arrested. The movement has gained momentum in recent weeks with the installation of pro-Palestinian camps in the heart of campuses. Thousands of students are demanding that their university cut ties with Israel. Some universities have started to issue permanent exclusions in an attempt to restore calm.
