A demonstration by high school students degenerated near the Gustave-Eiffel high school in Cachan (Val-de-Marne) on the morning of Tuesday March 5. Individuals, some wearing hoods, attacked street furniture and caused damage, particularly to municipal vehicles. Onthe mayor of Cachan, Hélène de Comarmond, sentenced “firmly” dare “unacceptable violence” and announces that the city will file a complaint. “I renews my support and my thanks to the educational community, municipal agents, firefighters and the National Police”, writes the councilor. On a video relayed by the Union of Internal Security Executives, a group of young people attacks vehicles.
