Vincent Guzzo was charged last Sunday with criminal harassment and breach of condition, was able to confirm The Press.
The owner of Guzzo cinemas appeared in Laval on Sunday.
The 54-year-old businessman was briefly detained, then pleaded not guilty to those charges. He was released Monday morning after appearing by videoconference.
The alleged facts allegedly took place in Terrebonne.
