Barely Sandrine Rousseau takes the floor that her speech is covered by boos. In the crowd, an insult explodes: “Collaborate!” Hala Oukili was one of those who gave him this welcome. “VS‘was a little the least of things, for this feminist activist, because it had already been some time since it was illustrated by rather strange declarations (…).” She criticizes Sandrine Rousseau for holding “the discourse of intersectional feminism, which would like veiling to be a choice and a freedom…”. The next day, guest on France Inter, Sandrine Rousseau asserts that the other two left-wing speakers, Manon Aubry and Laurence Rossignol, were whistled like her. But it is immediately contradicted by the host Nicolas Demorand, because Laurence Rossignol herself has just reacted on Twitter.
And the socialist senator to attach to her message the proof in pictures: the video of her intervention, which she posted just before on the social network. We can see that far from being whistled, Laurence Rossignol is applauded.
How to explain that Sandrine Rousseau continues to maintain her version despite the images? For Hala Oukili, perhaps by a “need to justify what must have deeply shocked her. It would mean that she has to question herself. And she doesn’t like to question herself…”
