Five members of the Taofifénua family are currently playing in the Top 14, including Romain and Sébastien.

In the Taofifénua clan, rugby is a family affair. The three brothers, as well as the cousins, are established throughout the territory. Romain and Sébastien in Lyon, little brother Killian in Perpignan, cousins ​​Filimo and Donovan in Bayonne and at Racing 92. Romain has twenty-nine selections for the France team and Sébastien two. Donovan was called up for the first time this fall. Kilian hopes to follow the same path.

“In the family, rugby is doing quite well for Wallisians and Caledonians. For the young people there, the door is open”, rejoices Romain. Taofifénua. It was Willy, the father, who sparked the love of the oval ball in the siblings. Willy Taofifénua arrived in France in the 90s, to play for Mont-de-Marsan, before joining the Grenoble club.
