In Arras, a doctor is accused of having raped or sexually assaulted 66 women. Bernard Henric, renowned gynecologist, specialist in assisted reproduction, who had been practicing since 1993, was indicted in 2015 for “rape and sexual assault committed by a person abusing his authority”. He is now under judicial control but surprisingly, he still practices … as an endocrinologist, the justice having prohibited him from practicing gynecology.
Actions performed without patient consent
In Paris, at Tenon hospital, it is Emile Daraï, a great professor, gynecologist and obstetrician specializing in endometriosis, who is indicted: three women, including a minor, have filed a complaint against him for rape and Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation. He is accused of gynecological procedures that he would have performed without the consent of the patients.
Often very young women raped or sexually assaulted in their doctor’s office. Colleagues who sometimes close their eyes.
