Four days after the earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria, specialists believe that the chances of survival under the rubble are slim. On Friday, several miraculous rescues still took place.

Four days after the disaster, survivors miraculously emerged from the rubble. In Turkey, rescuers continued to evacuate earthquake victims on Friday, February 10. In Nurdagi, near the epicenter, Spanish rescuers notably released a little boy, in tears, and his sister, after 100 hours under the rubble. In Samandag, rescuers saved a healthy baby. France 2 reports that he was taken care of with his mother. Further north in Kahramanmaras, a teenager was also able to be extracted from the rubble, after having spent 99 hours there.

France 2 still recounts the rescue of Adnan, 17, in Gaziantep. “I was waiting alone for you to arrive”he said, smiling, to the rescuer who delivered him. “God bless the rescuers, the police and the volunteers. We’ve been here four days.” said her mother, very moved. A joy like a short clearing, while the balance sheet continues to grow. By Friday evening, there were nearly 23,000 dead in Turkey and Syria.
