Since the sale of CBD or cannabidiol, the non-psychotropic hemp molecule (unlike THC), has been authorized in France, 1,000 specialized stores have opened across the country. Traders who have embarked on this promising business are rubbing their hands.

However, for French farmers who have tried the adventure, it’s a cold shower. Because, and this is a French paradox, if the cultivation of these flowers is legal, the extraction and sale of their CBD are prohibited, because they could pave the way for the legalization of cannabis.
