The Montreal Alliance, which hosted the Guelph Nighthawks on Sunday, took the lead in the opening minutes and never fell behind to triumph 94-74 and maintain their perfect home record.

After five games, the Alliance’s record can be summed up quite simply: home wins (3) and away defeats (2).
With a combined 17 points from Dominic Green and Isiah Osborne as well as effective defensive work, the Alliance took a 24-15 lead after the first quarter.

She lost gallons at the start of the second quarter, before regaining her rhythm afterwards, only being the victim of a reversal in the first half of the match. She, on the other hand, scored 11 points on the Nighthawks’ six turnovers, in addition to making 47% of her attempts from the three-point line. It was 50-38 at halftime.
The visitors were never in the game afterwards and the rest of the meeting was only a formality. The Alliance only widened their lead, so they were leading 85-67 when it came time to apply the rule of Elam.
Vincent Lavandier’s men were able to counter Cat Barber and Ahmed Hill, core of the Nighthawks, whose offensive production was limited to 39 points.
Casually, the Alliance has already played a quarter of its games this season. His next game is Wednesday at 9 p.m. against the Stingers in Edmonton.
